Managed Technology Services

End-to-end operations for the mission-critical technology your agency cannot afford to lose.

Built for the 3 a.m. call, not the 9-to-5 ticket queue.
What this is

This is not commodity IT support.

Managed Technology Services is Sentinel's operational offering, purpose-built for mission-critical public safety environments where uptime, interoperability, and incident-response readiness are not negotiable. The service is structured around the realities of dispatch floors, records systems, integrated public safety platforms, and the 3 a.m. escalations that cannot wait for a ticket queue.

Generic managed service providers often do not understand why CAD latency matters, why backup timing affects evidentiary integrity, why firewall rule changes can disrupt integrated systems, or why dispatch uptime is operationally existential. Sentinel does.

This engagement is engineered around those realities from the ground up, staffed by engineers who have built, deployed, and maintained the platforms your agency is running, inside the environments they were built for.

Our people sit in the same operations centers they now support. They have run the radio console, the CAD workflow, the records migration, and the 3 a.m. outage call. That is the bench. Not a distant NOC, not a tiered help desk. Sentinel operators with operational memory.

What we manage

Six operational domains. Twenty-four seven ownership.

Managed Technology Services covers the full operational surface of mission-critical technology. Continuous monitoring, disciplined change, validated recovery, and the human escalation path that exists because dispatch floors do not wait for a ticket queue.

01

Infrastructure & Network Management

Resilience, performance, and security across the core infrastructure public safety systems depend on. Monitoring, patching, firewall governance, and the architectural judgment that prevents quiet drift from becoming a 3 a.m. call.

02

Public Safety Systems Support

Operational support for CAD, RMS, 911, GIS, video, and evidence systems. The daily workflow health, the vendor escalation, and the mobile client troubleshooting that keeps dispatch floors and patrol units working without friction.

03

Backup, Disaster Recovery & Continuity

Validated backups, failover awareness, and recovery planning tested against the scenarios that actually threaten public safety operations. Not just tape rotations: recovery that survives audit, disaster, and discovery.

Change Control & System Integrity

Disciplined changes, release coordination, and escalation control built for integrated environments where a single untested update can cascade across radio, CAD, and records. Every change logged, reviewed, and reversible.

05

End-User & Operational Support

Responsive technical stewardship with senior escalation access. Dispatchers, patrol officers, records clerks, and EOC staff reach engineers who know their workflows, not a tiered help desk working from a generic script.

Vendor Oversight & Performance

Performance accountability across every vendor in the stack. SLA monitoring, escalation discipline, and the technical translation layer that keeps vendors honest and agencies informed. The work that vendors often would rather no one do.

How we operate

Three disciplines running in parallel, every day.

Managed Technology Services is not a ticket queue with a friendly name. It is three parallel operational disciplines that run continuously across the systems your agency depends on, delivered by engineers who have operated these platforms themselves.

01 Pillar One

Continuous Monitoring & Response

Round-the-clock visibility into the systems that cannot go dark, with escalation paths sized for the urgency of what is running on them.

  • 24/7/365 infrastructure monitoring
  • Real-time alerting & on-call rotation
  • Senior engineer escalation access
  • Proactive incident response
02 Pillar Two

Disciplined Change & Maintenance

Every patch, every update, every config change governed with the rigor mission-critical environments actually require, reviewed before it touches production.

  • Change advisory review
  • Maintenance window coordination
  • Pre-deployment validation
  • Rollback & recovery discipline
03 Pillar Three

Executive Reporting & Vendor Oversight

Monthly briefings that council, audit, and leadership can actually read, paired with the vendor accountability work that keeps your stack honest.

  • Monthly technology health reports
  • Incident trending & root cause
  • SLA tracking across vendors
  • Executive briefings on cadence

No ticket queues. No generic SLAs. No tiered help desk. Every engagement staffed by engineers with operational memory of the systems they support.

Engagement model

Monthly subscription, scoped to the footprint you are protecting.

Managed Technology Services is delivered as a monthly subscription scoped to the footprint you are protecting. Engagements range from remote infrastructure monitoring and patch validation, to expanded lifecycle support with recurring on-site presence, to a fully embedded IT division dedicated to your agency or region.

Every engagement is sized to the environment it serves. Pricing reflects the scope and complexity of your systems, the population and jurisdiction you serve, the size and operational tempo of your department, your response-time and uptime requirements, and the cadence of on-site versus remote coverage your program needs.

We do not publish standard tiers because a twelve-seat rural PSAP and a metropolitan dispatch center do not deserve the same proposal. Start a scoped conversation and we will build you a proposal that fits the environment you are actually running.

Industry Rollout

Public Safety first. Additional industries underway.

Managed Technology Services is active in Public Safety, where the operational tempo and uptime stakes are highest. The same operational discipline transfers to other industries as their engagement profiles come online.

Take the Call Off Your Desk

Operations that run the way your dispatch floor runs.

Tell us what is running, what is failing, and what your current support model misses. We will tell you honestly whether Sentinel is the right operational fit for your environment, or recommend a better path if we are not. Transition plans sized to your risk tolerance.
