SECTION 01

Our Commitment.

Sentinel Solutions Group, LLC is committed to making sentinelgov.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. The firm believes accessibility is a foundational standard, not a feature.

THE COMMITMENT

The agencies the firm serves exist to help everyone in their communities. The website that represents the firm is built to the same standard. Accessibility is not an afterthought, a compliance checkbox, or a project to complete. It is the standard the firm applies to the work.

The firm aims to provide an inclusive digital experience that allows all visitors, regardless of ability, to access information about the firm's methodology, capabilities, and engagement practices.

SECTION 02

Conformance Status.

The firm targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Level AA conformance is the standard referenced by most accessibility regulations, including Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance.

Current status: sentinelgov.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. The firm is actively working toward full conformance and addresses identified gaps as they are discovered.

The firm prioritizes accessibility issues based on user impact, frequency of encountered barriers, and operational feasibility of remediation. Critical accessibility barriers are addressed promptly. Lower-impact issues are addressed in regular maintenance cycles.

SECTION 03

Measures We Take.

The firm takes the following measures to ensure the website is accessible:

ACCESSIBILITY PRACTICES
  • Design StandardsAccessibility requirements are part of the design specification, not a post-build review.
  • Semantic StructurePages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA labels where appropriate.
  • Keyboard NavigationAll interactive elements are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
  • Color and ContrastText and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
  • Alternative TextMeaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative images are properly marked.
  • Responsive DesignThe website adapts to a range of screen sizes, zoom levels, and input methods.
  • Form LabelsForm fields include programmatically associated labels and clear error messaging.
  • Plain LanguageContent is written in clear, declarative language with practitioner-grade clarity.

Accessibility considerations are part of the firm's content review process. New content, components, and pages are reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria before publication.

SECTION 04

Technical Specifications.

Accessibility of sentinelgov.com relies on the following technologies working with the combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on the visitor's device:

  • HTML for document structure and semantic content
  • CSS for visual presentation, layout, and responsive behavior
  • JavaScript for interactive components and dynamic content
  • WAI-ARIA for enhanced accessibility metadata on dynamic and custom components

These technologies are used in accordance with the relevant accessibility standards and specifications to support compatibility with assistive technologies and modern web browsers.

SECTION 05

Compatible Technologies.

The website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser configurations:

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile
  • Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
  • Browser zoom up to 200 percent without loss of functionality
  • Operating system accessibility settings including high contrast modes, reduced motion preferences, and font size adjustments
  • Voice control and switch device input where browser support permits

The website may not be fully compatible with older browsers, browsers with non-default security restrictions, or assistive technologies that do not support current web standards.

SECTION 06

Known Limitations.

Despite the firm's ongoing efforts, some content on sentinelgov.com may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party embedded content. Content embedded from third-party services may not meet the same accessibility standard as content produced directly by the firm.
  • Legacy PDF documents. Some older PDF documents linked from the website may not be fully tagged or screen-reader accessible. The firm is updating PDF accessibility as documents are revised.
  • Complex visualizations. Certain diagrams, charts, or interactive components may rely on visual presentation that has limited alternative text or structured equivalents. Text-based alternatives are being added.
  • Auto-generated content. Some automatically generated elements (such as user-contributed content in forms) may not consistently meet conformance criteria.

If you encounter content that is not accessible to you, the firm wants to know. See Section 9 for how to reach the firm directly.

SECTION 07

Alternatives and Accommodations.

If you are unable to access any content or use any feature of sentinelgov.com because of a disability, the firm will provide the information or functionality through an alternative method.

REQUEST AN ALTERNATIVE

Email the firm at Info@SentinelGov.com with the subject line “Accessibility Request” and a description of the content or task you need help with. A team member will respond within two business days with the information in an accessible format or by scheduled phone call.

Alternative formats the firm can provide on request include:

  • Plain-text email versions of page content
  • Telephone consultation to walk through information verbally
  • Structured Word or accessible PDF versions of documents
  • Large-print summaries of key engagement materials

The firm does not charge for accommodations. Accommodations are a baseline service expectation, not a premium offering.

SECTION 08

Assessment Approach.

The firm assesses accessibility through a combination of approaches:

  • Self-evaluation. The firm reviews pages against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria using a combination of automated testing tools and manual review. Self-evaluation is conducted at the time of new content publication and during periodic site reviews.
  • Automated scanning. Automated accessibility scanners are used to identify common technical issues such as missing alternative text, insufficient contrast, and improper semantic structure. Automated tools do not catch every issue and are supplemented by manual testing.
  • Manual testing. The firm conducts manual testing using keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility checks, and zoom-level verification on a sampling of pages and components.
  • User feedback. Reports from visitors who encounter accessibility barriers inform prioritization of remediation work. User-reported issues are treated with operational urgency.

This statement was prepared on May 18, 2026, based on a self-evaluation of the website conducted by the firm. The firm has not commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit at this time, but is open to doing so if engagement scale or client request warrants it.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate U.S. federal or state agency responsible for enforcing accessibility laws applicable to private-sector websites, including the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Filing a formal complaint with a regulatory agency does not require prior contact with the firm.

SECTION 11

Statement Date and Review.

This statement was prepared and published on May 18, 2026. It reflects the firm's accessibility commitments and the state of the website as of that date.

The firm reviews this statement at least annually and updates it whenever a material change to the website, the firm's accessibility practices, or applicable accessibility standards warrants revision. Updates to the statement are reflected in the Last Updated date in the meta band at the top of this page.

SECTION 12

Continuous Improvement.

Accessibility is not a project the firm completes. It is a standard the firm maintains. As the website evolves, as new content is added, as the firm's offerings expand, accessibility considerations are part of every decision.

If the firm misses something, the firm wants to know. If a visitor needs information in a different format, the firm wants to provide it. The standard is unchanging: every person who comes to this website should be able to get the information they came for.

A NOTE FROM THE FIRM

Sentinel does not separate “accessibility users” from “users.” The firm builds for everyone. When something falls short, the firm fixes it.
